About the Show
Cipta Theatre Company is excited to present our semester one production for 2024: The Last Supper by Elizabeth Browne!
ABOUT THE PLAY
T-minus 2 hours until the end of the world…
Fire ravages the forests; unemployment rates and the cost of living soar; the air is becoming unbreathable. The world is – seemingly – beyond hope.
Amidst all this, the country has voted in a referendum to destroy itself via nuclear bomb. As Judy’s family share one last meal before ‘The End’, the world as they know it unravels with the ticking clock. Who deserves to live? Who deserves to die?
Time is running out…supper is about to be served.
