TheTheatre.au is committed to providing quality services to you and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your Personal Information.

What is Personal Information and why do we collect it?

This Personal Information is obtained in many ways and from third parties. We don’t guarantee website links or policy of authorised third parties.

TheTheatre.au will not charge any fee for your access request, but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your Personal Information.

In order to protect your Personal Information we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.

It is an important to us that your Personal Information is up-to-date. We will take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. Using the Google products we collect and process user data including the association of such data with the visitation information Google Analytics collects.Ads Personalisation means Google uses cookies to track users who visit our website and display our ads to these users when they are on other websites. Users can opt out of Google Advertising Features through the MyAdCenter, My Google Activity, Google Opt out Add-on.

Review Policy

Melbourne Theatre Info strives to publish high quality reviews that are fair, objective and accurate. We do this to try to help our readers make an informed decision before purchasing tickets to shows.

The intention of our Review Policy is to helps us stay independent and impartial.

Conflicts of interest arise when authors, reviewers, editors or the publisher have interests or past associations that may influence their judgments on what is published, or may have the potential to make a reasonable reader feel misled or deceived if they were aware of such a potential conflict of interest.

A potential conflicting interest might arise from relationships, allegiances or past allegiances to particular groups, organisations or interests, which may influence excessively one’s judgments or actions.

Therefore, Melbourne Theatre Info will not publish a review written or edited by anyone who has an actual or perceived conflict of interest with the reviewed production or theatre production company. Furthermore, we will not publish any reviews for any shows produced by a production company that the publisher is or has been involved with.
