3 Little Pigs
Beginning with the Australian premiere of the children’s musical THE 3 LITTLE PIGS. Crafted by the acclaimed duo Stiles & Drewe, known for their work on Mary Poppins and Peter Pan, this show delivers a charming and witty retelling of the classic tale. Its enchanting storyline and engaging music will delight audiences of all ages when it opens on December 19, 2024, at the National Theatre in St Kilda.
Avenue Q
Following this family-friendly spectacle, AG Theatre will present the Tony Award-winning AVENUE Q. Opening on February 21, 2025 at the National Theatre. This edgy and hilarious show features unique puppetry to explore the trials and tribulations of adulthood. Known for its sharp wit and heartwarming moments, Avenue Q resonates with both young adults and the young at heart, making it a must-see for Melbourne audiences.
Once
The critically acclaimed musical ONCE will round out AG Theatre’s premiere season. Opening on May 3, 2025, at Chapel Off Chapel in Prahran. This evocative and soulful production tells the story of a Dublin street musician and a Czech immigrant whose shared love for music sparks a deep connection. With its intimate storytelling and beautiful score, Once has garnered Tony, Grammy, and Olivier Awards. It promises a powerful theatrical experience.
